RSS not against Muslims, Christians: Janakrishnamurthy

Chennai, Dec 17 (UNI) Former BJP national president Jana Krishnamurthy today clarified that RSS was not against Muslims or Christians but for protecting the rights of the Hindus.

Participating in the birth centnary celeberations of Guruji Golwalkar here, Mr Krishnamurthy pointed out that people from all walks of life were members of the RSS.

''As the head of the mutts as well as mutts were functioning as central focal points for promoting faith, we should protect them at any cost,'' he added.

Speaking on the occassion, Tamil Nadu BJP president L Ganesan said if the court verdict came in favour of constructing a Ram temple at Ayodhya, no force on earth could prevent them from constructing it.

He called upon the partymen to be ready for the court verdict on the Ayodhya issue.'Whatever be the ruling, we will make ourselves prepared either to celeberate or to agitate.' Holding the UPA-led Congress government at the Centre for the backwardness of Muslims, Mr Ganesan said the Congress, which was following the footprints of the British, was not ready to bring peace and harmony between Hindus and Muslims.
