Punjab pips Haryana

Visakhapatnam, Dec 17 (UNI) Punjab won the match by an innings and 109 runs at the end of the third day of its three-day All India Vijay Merchant Trophy under-17 Elite 'A' Group in the sport stadium here today.

Score: Punjab first innings: 419 for 8 (declared) in 121 overs.

Haryana First innings: 91 all out in 55.4 overs.

Haryana second innings: 219 all out in 87 overs.

Haryana bowling: Mukhul Dagar 66 (7x4), Jayanth Yadav 50 (8x4) , Amanjit Singh 42 (7x4).

Punjab bowling: Sithartha Kaul (rmp) 7 for 62, (total 11 wickets in the match), Krishna Alang 3 for 36.
