Heroin worth Rs 50 lakh seized

Kohima, Dec 17 (UNI) In another major haul, police seized 500 gm of heroin and arrested three persons from Dimapur in Nagaland yesterday.

Official sources said here today that the Special Operation Team (SOT) of Dimapur police raided a house in the Medical Colony and arrested three persons along with the contraband heroin of 500 gram when the latter were trying to sell the consignment.

Police estimated the price of the consignment at Rs 50 lakh in international market.

Further investigation was on to apprehend the entire racket.
