Farmer dies days after suicide attempt before CM's chamber

Hyderabad, Dec 17 (UNI) A farmer, who attempted suicide by consuming poison in front of Chief Minister's chamber on December eight, died in Osmania Government Hospital here this evening.

Police said farmer Balaswami belonged to Mahaboob Nagar district.

Meanwhile, the Opposition parties demanded that the government announce Rs 5 lakh ex gratia to his family.
