CPI(M) organises 'Vijay Julus'
Ranchi, Dec 17 (UNI) Welcoming the smooth passage of Tribal Rights Bill in Lok Sabha yesteday, the CPI (M) today took out a procession as 'Vijay Julus' at the Albert Ekka chowk here.
Party's polit bureau member and MP Brinda Karat, state party secreatry Gyan Shankar Majumdar, along with the other party workers, participated in the procession.
The Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Bill, 2006, seeks to lay down a procedure for recognition and vesting of forest rights in forest dwelling Scheduled Tribes.
