2 die of electrocution in Sayala

Surendranagar, Dec 17 (UNI) Two men died on the spot while riding a motorcycle when they came in contact with a live wire hanging across the road at Morsal village in Sayala taluka of Surendranagar district.

The mishap occurred last night at 2300 hrs when Devsibhai Virabhai and Sureshbhai Jahabhai were returning from their farmhouse to their home. The loose wire belonged to Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (PGVCL) which got entangled around their neck. One more person who was also with them was seriously injured and has been admitted to a Rajkot hospital. He is yet to be identified.

Both the deceased were farmers.
