Customs destroyed Ganja plants, seized machine
Agartala, Dec 16 (UNI) Customs officials seized a number of illegal foreign liquors and manufacturing machineries and destroyed ganja plants worth Rs five lakhs in West and South district yesterday.
Official sources today said customs officials on a tip-off raided Maharaj Ganj Bazar, the main market of this capital city, and seized fake foreign liquor bottles and machineries and apprehended the owner of the shop.
In another incident, Police and Customs officials in anti-ganja drive destroyed opium plants worth Rs five lakh at Garji under Udaipur Subdivision in south district.
The Teliamura police in west district unearthed an illegal factory for manufacturing liquors at Lembucherra village in west district.
