Well-known motocross rider Sampat Kolee passes away

Kolhapur, Dec 15 (UNI) Well-known motocross rider Sampat Pandurang Kolee passed away after a brief illness here yesterday.

He was 47. He is survived by a son and a daughter.

Sampat achieved fame as a motocross rider between 1978 and 1987.

He had participated in various motocross events held at Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and other places in which he won several prizes.
