Undertrial prisoner escapes from custody
Patna, Dec 15 (UNI) An undertrial prisoner accused in the murder case of Satendra Dubey, an Engineer cum-project manager of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), escaped today from the court premises.
The undertrial accused, Uday, was brought from jail to produce before the court of additional district and sessions judge of Patna Brijendra Mohan Shrivastav in connection with the case.
Earlier, another under trial accused in the same case Mantoo also escaped from the court premises although he was later on apprehended.
The process was on to examine the witnesses produced by CBI when an accused made good his escape. A massive manhunt is on to nab the escapee.
Engineer Satyendra Dubey was shot dead at Gaya in 2003 when he was posted in golden quadrilateral road project.
