Uddhav denies rumours of split in Sena in Lok sabha

Mumbai, Dec 15 (UNI) Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray today denied rumours of a split in the group of party MPs in the Lok Sabha.

In a brief interaction with reporters, Mr Thackeray said these are rumours.

When asked about the party's preparation for the ensuing Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections where it is ruling, Mr Thackeray said, ''Shiv Sena's preparation would be visible''.

Last year, eight Sena MLAs including Revenue Minister Narayan Rane had resigned and joined the Congress. Mr Rane always boasted that he would soon get the support of MPs also.
