Photos, CD in Vet molestation case doctored: CFSL report
Chandigarh, Dec 15 (UNI) The CFSL reports have found that the photo and Compact Disc were doctors to show police personnel molesting women veterinarians in Ludhiana, Punjab Advocate General Rajinder Singh Cheema told the Punjab and Haryana High Court today.
The Punjab Advocate General today sought to place the report of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) about the objectionable photograph and a CD containing digital photographs of the scene of the incident which had prompted the High Court to take suo moto notice of the same after its publication.
When the division bench of the Chief Justice Vijendra Jain and Justice Jagjit Singh Narang inquired about the report, Mr Cheema submitted that the CFSL has reported that the disputed photograph was doctored and grafted so as to produce an illusion so as the image looked objectionable.
The bench observed it was a serious matter and the CD and the photograph were subsequently returned to Mr Cheema for submitting the same to the registrar of the High Court.
He was also asked to file his response in the matter before February 12, 2007, the next date fixed for hearing the case pertaining to alleged molestation of women veterinarians during police action against the protestors at Ludhiana during the visit of the Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh to the Punjab Agricultural University(PAU).
