None from AP killed in Dubai mishap

Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Information Minister Mohd Ali Shabeer Ali today denied reports that 30 construction workers who had migrated to Dubai were killed in Dubai yesterday.

Making a statement in the state Assemblye, the Minister said on directions from Chief Minister he contacted the Dubai Consul General, who had clarified that no one from Andhra Pradesh had been killed or injured in the mishap.

One person killed was from North India while the injured were mainly from Indonesia and other countries.

According to reports, 30 migrants from the two districts were killed when a bus carrying 60 workers of Albaraha company met with an accident on the Jebel Ali fourth bridge in dubai.
