Night temp below normal in several parts of the country

Pune, Dec 15 (UNI) Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Orissa. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Jharkhand and in some parts of southwest Rajasthan and were below normal in Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mioram, Tripura, east Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Madhya Pradesh, south Madhya Maharashtra and of south interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Orissa.

They were appreciably above normal in some parts of Haryana,Gujrat State, Konkan,north Madhya Maharashtra and of Marathwada and in remaining parts of Rajasthan and were above normal in some parts of north Madhya Pradesh and of coastal Andhra Pradesh.They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh,Tamil Nadu and Kerala.Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Assam and Meghalaya,Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram, Tripura,West Bengal and Sikkim,Orissa,Jharkhand,Bihar,Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal,Haryana,Punajb,Himachal Pradesh,Rajasthan,Gujrat State, Konkan and Goa,Madhya Maharashtra,Marathwada,Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka State.
