Motorcycle expedition by NCC Cadets to A

Bangalore, Dec 15: A batch of 11 NCC Cadets will be embarking on a motorcycle expedition 'Santhwana Yatra' to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from here tomorrow.

The team, including six girl cadets and an Officer, would be flagged by Air Commodore S S rivastava, Deputy Director General of NCC Directorate, Karnataka and Goa.

The team would be covering !,683 km in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu by road, before boarding a ship to the islands.

Throughout the expedition, the team would meet the families of Tsunami victims to show their solidarity.

The yatra, organised on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Tsunami disaster, will conclude on January three.
