Marathi Patrakar Sangh set up

Kolhapur, Dec 15 (UNI) Kolhapur District Maratrhi Patrakar Sangh (KDMPS) was today set up here in affiliation with Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Patrakar Parishad (ABMPP).

Talking to reporters here, ABMPP Maharashtra president Rajabhau Shinde announced the list of KDMPS officer-bearers and said the Parishad will work for the welfare of journalists.

The office-bearers are Vittal Patil (Sakal) and Chandrashekhar Matade (Pudhari) as the president and working president of the KDMPS respectively.

Charudatta Joshi (a representative of Sahara Samay) was delcared as secretary, Anuradha Sarnaik (Tarun Bharat) as joint secretary, Appasaheb Patil (Lokmat) as treasurer, P D Patil (Pudhari) as secretary, Kolhapur region and Marutirao Sonalkar (Pudhari) as Parishad representative.

Besides this, a 16-member executive committee has been selected.
