manuscripts to be translated and published

Patna Dec 15(UNI) Bihar government today announced to translate and publish the manuscripts brought to India from Tibet by the noted Indian writer Pt Rahul Sanskritayan.

Replying to a question in the state legislative council, Bihar Art and Culture Minister Janardan Singh Sigriwal said Pt Rahul Sanskritayan had brought some rare manuscripts of Buddhism,including Vajra Dak Mahatantra-178, Pragyapar Mita-233, Maithili Manuscript-633 and Maithili Manuscript-634.

All the manuscripts were safely kept in Patna Museum.

The Minister said these manuscripts would be translated and published soon.
