JD-U leader shot dead

Deoghar, Dec 15 (UNI) A leader of Janta Dal United (JD-U) was shot dead in this district headquarters town today.

Superintendent of Police (Incharge) Prasant Kumar Karn told UNI that the Vice president of JD-U city unit, Mr Murari Jajwade was shot twice in his head near shivganga area of the city while he was returning from Bilasi area on a motorcycle. Mr Jajwade died on the spot.

An FIR had been lodged in this connection accusing more than 10 persons by name. The reason of murder was said to be buisness rivalary. Police were conductin raids to nab the accused.
