India to take on Pakistan in Blind World Cup final

Lahore, Dec 15 (UNI) India set up a title clash with defending champions Pakistan after beating England by six wickets in the semi-finals of the third Cricket World Cup for the Blind in Islamabad.

The two arch-rivals will take on each other tomorrow at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.

India restricted England to 209 for four in the 40-over-a-side match after winning the toss. In reply, the Indians reached the target in the 27th over with six wickets in hand.

Subhash Boya was the top-scorer for the Indians with his unbeaten knock of 88. Man-of-the-match Ashish Nagi also chipped in with fine half-century after effecting two run outs during the England innings as India cruised into the final.

Earlier, in the first semi-final, Pakistan had thrashed Australia by 10 wickets to sail into the final. The defending champions will hold the edge going into the title clash as they have already beaten India in one of the group matches.
