House Panel on AIDS fund
Kohima, Dec 15 (UNI) A five-member Assembly Committee was constituted to inquire into the utilisation of funds meant for AIDS control projects in Nagaland for the past ten years, Nagaland Assembly Speaker Kiyanilie Peseyie has announced in the one-day session of the House.
He said convenor of the Committee would be Health and Family Welfare Minister T M Lotha, while the members were Secretary to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Doshehe and legislators Takamasa, Deo Nukhu and Khutovi.
This was for the first time in the state the House had shown concern over the use of fund, earmarked for HIV/AIDS control projects, following complaints of alleged corruption.
