Heritage Foods purchased assigned lands: AP Govt
Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) While Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu claimed that he had not purchased any Government lands, the Government Chief Whip N Kirankumar Reddy today alleged that the Heritage foods owned by family members of Naidu had purchased the 'assigned' land in Guntisettipalli in Chittoor district.
Talking to newspersons here, he said he had documentary evidence that the Heritage foods had purchased 5.67 acres of assigned land in Guntisettipalli village in Santipuram mandal of Chittoor district.
He denied the statement of the Heritage Foods President, M Sambasivarao that the heritage foods had not purchased the Government lands for its Integrated Pack House.
Mr Reddy said the Lokayukta had indicted the TRS floor leader G Vijayarama rao for allegedly'grabbing' the Government lands.
He said on the lines of the Voluntary disclosure scheme of the Income Tax Department, a similar one should be introduced to facilitate the surrender of excess land.
