Function to confer French honour to Lata postponed

Mumbai, Dec 15 (UNI) The function to confer the highest civilian award by the French government 'National Order of the Legion of Honour' to Melody Queen Lata Mangeshkar in Mumbai on December 19 has been postponed.

A French Consulate spokesperson said a fresh date will be announced later.

The Ambassador of France Dominique Girard was scheduled to give away the honour to Lata Mangeshkar at a function at 'The Club',in Andheri, North West Mumbai on December 19.
