Cholamandalam DBS gets ND-NBFC certificate from RBI

Chennai, Dec 15 (UNI) The Cholamandalam DBS Finance Limited has obtained a new Certificate of Registration from the RBI as a Non Deposit-Non Banking Financial Company (ND-NBFC).

This was further to the approval from the Board of Directors in October to exit from public deposits and apply for new status as ND-NBFC.

Cholamandalam DBS received the required clearance from RBI in this regard on December 13, a company release said here today.

Cholamandalam DBS had stopped accepting fresh public deposits and renewing such deposits with effect from November one.
