Bihar legislative council adjourned sine die

Patna, Dec 15 (UNI) The brief winter session of Bihar legislative council, which began on December 8, was adjourned sine die today.

The session had six working days and continued till late this evening to transact all business on the agenda.

Altogether 874 questions were admitted of which 107 were answered in the house while rest were deferred for next session.

The house passed several important bills, including Bihar Appropriation Bill-2006, Bihar Hindu Religious Board (amendment) Bill-2006, Bihar Excise(amendment) Bill-2006 Bihar Luxary tax in Hotels(amendment) Bill-2006.
