AP CM announces reward for state winners in Asian Games

Hyderabad, Dec 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said suitable rewards would be given to all the Asian Games medal winners from the state.

Dr Reddy congratulated Koneru Humpy and P Hari Krishna, who won Gold at Doha.

Grand Master Koneru Humpy had won two Gold in individual, as well as in team at Doha. Koneru has so far won seven international medals.

The other medallists from the State were Sania Mirza with one gold and two silver in tennis, S Geetha and J J Shobha with a gold and silver respectively in athletics.
