Help improve Grievance Redressal system
New Delhi, Dec 15: Suggestions have been invited from the public to improve Public Grievances Redressal Mechanism, it was announced today.
The suggestions should be confined to policy matters and procedure to be adopted-- not include personal grievances, an announcement by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice, said.
It said the Committee has taken up the Redressal Mechanism available in various government departments and bodies, including Banking Institutions and Trusts for detailed examination and Report in light of the Right to Information Act, 2005.
It said the Committee would explore the necessity of a separate enactment on the Public Grievances Redressal Mechanism.
