Air Deccan's Christmas offer: Booking at Rs 2

Bangalore, Dec 15 (UNI) Low-cost carrier Air Deccan today announced its Christmas offer, under which two lakh passengers traveling between February and March 2007 will be able to book their tickets at Rs two.

The bookings under this offer will open on December 17.

''Air Deccan has made innovation in pricing a habit. Continuing this tradition the lowest possible fares in the Indian skies had been offered. Our innovative and dynamic pricing of tickets consistently gives us an edge over our competitors and brings us closer to our target of becoming the No 1 airline in India,'' Air Deccan Chief Operating Officer Warwick Brady said.

The airliner had recently launched 35 new flights across various sectors which included tourist spots like Goa, Hampi and Jaipur.

''Our new offer of two lakh tickets for Rs 2 plus taxes is another opportunity for our passengers as well as traditional train and bus travelers to plan holidays, family visits or official trips in the new year,'' he added.

Air Deccan had in the past offered tickets for Re one, Rs three and Rs nine, as well as a fly for free offer, which received a good public response.
