Air Deccan's Christmas offer at Rs.2
Bangalore, Dec 15: Low cost carrier Air Deccan keeping its trend of offering lowest ever fares today announced tickets at Rs Two (plus taxes) for two lakh passengers for travel between February and March 2007.
Bookings would open on December 17, Air Deccan said in a release here.
Chief Operating Officer Warwick Brady said in the release that Air Deccan had made innovation in pricing a habit and continuing in this tradition the lowest possible fares in the Indian skies had been offered.
The Airliner had recently launched 35 new flights across various sectors which included tourist hot spots like Goa , Hampi, and Jaipur. ''Our new offer of 2 lac tickets for Rs2/- (plus taxes) is another opportunity for our passengers as well as traditional train and bus travelers to plan holidays, family visits or official trips in the new year'' he added.
Air Deccan had in the past offered tickets for Re one, Rs three and Rs nine, as well as a fly for free offer, which received tremendous public response. ''Our innovative and dynamic pricing of tickets consistently gives us an edge over our competitors and brings us closer to our target of becoming the No.1 airline in India'' He said.
