Two Indian national killed in Nepal

Kathmandu, Dec 14 (UNI) Two Indians were killed yesterday in an accident at Saptari's Bhardaha stretch of the east-west Mahendra Highway near the Indian border, media reports said here today.

Yogesh Kumar Singh, 25 and Devendra Singh, 30 of Bhimnagar and Baidhanathpur of India respectively were killed on the spot after their motorcycle (B R 502716) was hit by a bus at around midnight, Kantipur said.

The bus fled the scene after running over the two, the paper quoted the police as saying.

The two had come to Bhardaha to attend a marriage ceremony.

The bodies of the deceased have been taken to Sagarmatha zonal Hospital in Rajbiraj for postmortem.
