TTD to take legal action against allegations over jewellery

Tirupati, Dec 14 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) management is planning to take legal action against those making baseless allegations over the Jewellery of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala.

Talking to UNI, TTD Joint Executive Officer G Balaramaiah said some public representatives were making allegations without any proof and blaming the TTD administration.

While denying the allegations made by public representatives that precious jewellery donated by devotees and antiques donated by Mysore Maharaja were missing, he said all jewellery related to the Tirumala temple, the abode of Lord Venkateswara Swamy, was in safe custody.

He said stern action would be taken against those who were making false allegations against the Jewellery, if they were proved false.
