TN's Vinod Sridhar, Ranjit win men's doubles title

Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, Dec 14 (UNI) Vinod Sridhar and V M Ranjit of Tamil Nadu won the men's doubles title in the All India Ranking Tennis Tournament played at the Cosmopolitan Club here this night.

In the final, Vinod and Ranjit defeated Aditya Madekar (Mah) and Arjun Gautam of Karnataka 6-4, 0-6, 6-3.

Meanwhile, Asha Nanda Kumar and Rajur Chira Shanthi of Karnataka entered the women's singles final.

In the semi-final match, Asha outplayed Varsha Shiva Shankar in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.

The men's and women's single finals and women's double final will be held tomorrow.
