Sony launches Bravia X-Series

Mumbai, Dec 14 (UNI) Sony today launched its new X-Series televisions, which combine a full high definition (HD) LCD panel, live colour creation technology and the newly developed Bravia engine to create images that look alive.

This full HD Bravia X-Series includes two models in screen sizes of 46 inches (KLV-46X200A) and 40 inches (KLV-40X200A) priced at Rs 2,69,900 and Rs 1,99,900 respectively.

The Bravia X series will be available across the select Sony stores in the country, a statement said.

The full HD panels reproduce 1920 x 1080 pixels images with high quality and sharp clarity.

S-PVA also delivers a huge contrast ratio of 1300:1, effectively rendering every colour precisely, from deep black to pure white and everything in between, the statement added.

Bravia X-Series pursues reality to achieve crisp and higher contrast images through Bravia engine, an enhanced picture optimising process, by which the resolution is increased by a factor of upto four, doubling the number of vertical lines and horizontal pixels.
