Silver, gold ease further on bearish global advices

Mumbai, Dec 14 (UNI) Both the precious metals eased further today on the Bombay Bullion Exchange with Silver down by Rs 60 per kg and Gold by Rs 35 per ten gm on bearish global advices and thin buying support.

Silver fineness opened low at Rs 20,295 per kg on poor demand.

Later it improved and closed at Rs 20,310 per kg with a loss of Rs 60 from yesterday's close.

There was sustained heavy selling pressure by stockists in view of discouraging advice from the overseas market.

In London, the white metal was quoted low at USD 13.73/13.80 per troy ounce against USD 13.75/13.82 per troy ounce in New York.

Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) also opened weak at Rs 9,175 and Rs 9,220 per ten gm respectively on poor demand. the yellow metal closed at the same level with a loss of Rs 35 each from their last close.

In London, the yellow metal fell at USD 627.25/628.00 per troy ounce as compared to USD 628.00/629.50 per troy ounce at New York on Weednesday.
