Punjab to constitue fifth Pay Commission tomorrow

Sangrur, Dec 14 (UNI) The Punjab government will constitute the fifth Pay Commission tomorrow, Finance Minister Surinder Singla announced here today.

The Commission will comprise of a Chairperson and three members, including a reputed economist of the country, Mr Singla said while talking to mediapersons.

On rising prices of atta (wheat flour), the Minister said the state government would distribute 85,000 tonnes of wheat to families Below the Poverty Line (BPL) at the rate of Rs 2.30 to Rs 3.55 per kg.
