One of the largest video screen installed at BSE

Mumbai,Dec 14 (UNI) On the lines of NASDAQ video screen at New York, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has installed one of the India's largest video screens on its exterior wall today.

The screen, with a giant ticker installed at BSE in Rotunda Building facing Bombay Samachar marg, in south Mumbai, was inaugurated by Securities and Exchange Board of India(SEBI) chairman Mr M Damodaran for the benefit of common investors and market participants.

The idea is to disseminate information on the Capital market and other important announcements on a wider scale. This is also a step to project Mumbai as the Financial Hub of South Asian Region, said a release.

The screen will display real time stock prices of Sensex, BSE 200 and other BSE indices, corporate information and other announcements as on the BSE website, the release said.

The giant screen will telecast capital market specific programmes, BSE programmes and NDTV Profit news channel. The video screen and the tickers is a part of a joint initiative by the BSE and NDTV Profit, the release added.
