One dies of cold in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Dec 14 (UNI) The cold wave sweeping the state has caused a fatality in Sakhedi village in Jhalawr district.

The minimum temperature in Mount Abu has dropped to three degrees Celsius while Churu recorded a temperature of five degrees Celsius.

According to weathermen, the temperature in the state has reported an average increase of two degrees.

The temperature in the state capital rose to 6.8 degrees Celsius from five degrees Celsius with Pilani recording a temperature of six degrees Celsius, Ganganagar 6.7 degrees, Dholpur 8.5 degrees Celsius, Udaipur 8.8 degrees, Rawatbhata 9.6 degrees, Sawai Madhopur 10.2 degrees Celsius, Bharatpur 10.5 degrees, Jhalawar 10.6 degrees Celsius, Bikaneer 11.1 degrees, Kota 11.2 degrees, Ajmer 11.3 degrees, Jaisalmer 11.4 degrees Celsius and Jodhpur 13.1 degrees Celsius.
