Nikkei edges up 0.13 percent, exporters higher

TOKYO, Dec 14 (Reuters) Tokyo stocks rose 0.13 percent on Thursday with investors buying shares in exporters such as Honda Motor Co.

Ltd. on a softer yen.

As of 0001 GMT, the Nikkei was up 21.41 points at 16,714.34. The broader TOPIX index rose 0.28 percent to 1,643.86.
