New Australian Visa Centre opened

Kochi, Dec 14 (UNI) A new Australian visa application centre was opened here today.

In a statement here, Australia High Commission First Secretary (Immigration), Ms Lyn Reitano said, ''the Centre will make the Australian visa application procedure easier for people in and around Kochi and from other parts of Kerala. I hope that the people in Kerala would welcome these new arrangements.'' ''The Kochi visa Centre also reflects upon an ongoing effort on the part of the Australian government to enhance Australian visa application services in India,'' added Ms Reitano.

The Centre would be managed by a private company TT Services.
