Mr P Rama Babu new president of ISMA

New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) Mr P Rama Babu, Managing Director, EID Parry (India) Ltd. was elected as President of the Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) at its 72nd Annual General Meeting held here yesterday.

Mr Babu succeeds Mr C S Nopany, Chairmand and Managing Director, The Oudh Sugar Mills Ltd, a unit of Birla Group of Sugar Industries.

Mr Ranjit Puri, CMD of Saraswati Sugar Mills Ltd, was elected as Vice-President.

Besides this, 43 Ordinary Members were also elected on the ISMA Committee for the year 2006-07.
