Mainly dry weather prevailed over several places in the country

Pune, Dec 14 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Tripura, Jammu and in isolated parts of southwest Rajasthan and were below normal in north Orissa. They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, coastal Karnataka and in some parts of north Rajasthan and were above normal in Rayalaseema and in some parts of coastal Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Lakshadweep and at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Punjab, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and at mainly dry weather will prevail over the Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and Karnataka.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu.
