Kerala Assembly to hold special session from Dec 27
Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 14 (UNI) A three-day special session of the Kerala Assembly will be held here from December 27 for passing the Farmers Debt Relief Bill.
The decision to convene the Assembly was taken at a special Cabinet meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence here today.
After the meeting, Chief Minister V S Achutanandan told reporters that the special session would be held from December 27 to 29.
All the Ministers walked to the Cliff house, the official residence of the Chief Minister, expressing their solidarity with the nation wide general strike called by the Left trade unions.
Though the Cabinet met, the Chief Minister and his ministerial collegues did not attend the offices today.
