Jet Airways reschedules flights due to weather conditions in N-Ind

New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) Jet Airways has decided to cancel and reschedule some of its flights effective December 24, 2006 until January 15, 2007 taking into account the weather conditions prevalent at this time of the year in Delhi and in some other parts of North India, Flights 9W 2819 / 2820 (Delhi-Bangalore-Delhi), 9W 2305 / 2306 (Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai), 9W 2307 / 2308 (Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai), 9W 727 / 728 (Delhi-Patna-Delhi) will not operate during the above stated period.

Jet Airways has also rescheduled the flights, 9W 609 / 610 (Delhi-Leh-Delhi) which will now operate thrice a week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays) during the same period.

Flight 9W 3703 (Delhi-Baroda-Delhi) will now depart one hour in advance.

The revised timings will be Delhi, departure at 1610 hrs, arrival Baroda at 1825 hrs; Departure Baroda at 1900 hrs and arrival Delhi at 2115 hrs.

Similarly, the departure of 9W 2411 (Mumbai-Bangalore) has been advanced by half an hour. The flight would now depart Mumbai at 0230 hrs and arrive Bangalore at 0450 hrs.

The airline has also equipped its call centres to handle all flight queries on a 24/7 basis and give passengers updates on all delays and disruptions.

The airline will also notify passengers about disruptions in flight schedule via an SMS, subject to them having given the airline their mobile numbers at the time of reservation.

Passengers can also check the status on their flights by forwarding an SMS to 6388 with the relevant details.
