HDFC on expansion spree in HP
Shimla, Dec 14 (UNI) HDFC, one of the leading private sector banks of the country, today opened its fifth branch in Mandi town of Himachal Pradesh, saying this will be followed by sixth branch at the industrial town of Baddi in the state tomorrow.
With the opening of these two branches in the state, the total number of its branches in the country have gone up to 545, a bank spokesman said.
Tibetan Government-in-exile Prime Minister Samdong Rinpoche had inaugurated the fourth branch of the bank at Dharamshala town of Kangra district yesterday.
