Jamshedpur, Dec 14 (UNI) To bolster their fragile batting line, the selectors today made four changes in Jharkhand Ranji squad for remaining two plate group B matches against Services and Tripura.

Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) sources said they dropped old warhorse Tariqur Rahaman, who was recalled after a long gap but failed to deliver. Besides Rahaman the axe fell on C M Jha, opener Ratan Kumar and wicket keeper Madhusudan Tantubai.

Shabbir Hussain, Amir Hashmi, Neeraj Kumar (WK) and Vineet Sharma were included in the team.

The poor run of the state team continued as they even failied to open the accounts in the matches against minnows like Himachal Pradesh, Jammu&Kashmir and Orissa. While Jharkhand lost to HP and J&K, they managed to draw against Orissa.

Jharkhand will play the home match from December 17 to 20 against Services and away tie versus Tripura at Agartala from December 25 to 28.

Following is the team : Sumit Panda (Captain), Manish Vardhan, Arun Vidyarathi, Rajiv Kumar, Shabbir Hussain, Amir Hashmi, Santosh Lal, Neeraj Kumar(wk), Shahabaz Nadeem, S. S. Rao, Shahid Khan, Sunny Gupta, Saurav Tiwary, Mihir Diwakar and Vineet Sharma.
