Elders celebrate Asiad golds and success of Sunita Williams

New Delhi, Dec 13 (UNI) The Rajya Sabha today celebrated the entry of Indian-American astronaut Sunita Williams into space and the success of the country's sportspersons at Doha Asiad and international tennis events by extending hearty congratulations to them and expressing pride in their achievements.

As soon as the House assembled for the day, Chairman Bhairon Singh Shekahwat read a message congratulating astronaut Sunita Williams and sportspersons Jaspal Singh Rana (shooting), Pankaj Advani (billiards) and Koneru Humpy(chess) for the laurels they brought to the country.

He said the House joins them in celebrating their success.
