China's Wu calls US talks critically important

BEIJING, Dec 14 (Reuters) High-powered economic talks with the United States starting today are of critical importance, Vice-Premier Wu Yi said.

She was speaking at the start of the discussions with a large US delegation led by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
