CBSE Class 12 exams from March 1; Class ten from March 2

New Delhi, Dec 14: The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) today announced that its annual examinations for twelfth standard will commence from March 1 and class ten from March 2.

An official said the Senior Secondary Certification Examinations will be end by the second week of April whereas the secondary school papers will be over by end of March.

The date sheet for both the examinations will be announced soon, he said.

Hundreds of thousands of students across the country and abroad appear for the crucial examinations which set the course of their careers.

An estimated 1.1 million students appeared for annual twelfth and tenth standard examination in 2006.
