Bose India plans 12 retail outlets by 2008

New Delhi, Dec 14: Bose Corporation India Pvt Ltd, manufacturer of premium audio products, today said it plans to start 12 new retail stores by the end of 2008 in India.

''Bose Corporation plans to expand to tier-2 cities of the country and is thinking of doubling its number of stores from present 12 to 24 in next couple of years,'' company spokeperson Nandita Sood said.

The company has its presence in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.

The company today expanded its existing range of personal audio products by launching three latest headphones which are priced between Rs 5,000 to Rs 18,900.

Bose Corporation India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of US-based Bose Corporation, is a privately held company with over 9,000 employees across the world, 18 subsidiary and five manufacturing units in Mexcio, the US and Ireland.

The annual sales turnover of the company is two billion dollars.
