Bank employees observe total strike

Jaipur, Dec 14 (UNI) Work came to a halt in banks, LIC, Income Tax and all central government offices as employees responded to the strike call given by central labour unions, here today.

However, rural banks and employees associated with Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh did not participate in the strike.

Bank employees staged demonstration and raised slogans against the privatise banks and to speed up the recruitment of vacant move to posts.

Organisations linked with CITU took out a rally from Shahid Smarak to Collectorate.
