Australia opens visa application centre in Kochi

Kochi, Dec 14 (UNI) A new Australian visa application centre was opened here today.

"The centre will make the visa application procedure easier for people in and around Kochi and from other parts of Kerala for traval to Australia", Ms Lyn Reitano, First Secretary (Immigration), Australia High Commission, said in a statement here.

"I hope that the people in Kerala would welcome these new arrangements. The Kochi visa centre also reflects upon an ongoing effort on the part of the Australian Government to enhance Australian visa application services in India,' said Ms Reitano.

The centre would be managed by a private company TT Services.
