Apang urges youth to help build Arunachal

Borguli, Arunachal, Dec 14 (UNI) State Chief Minister Gegong Apang today exhorted the youth to be a partner with the state government in building his hitherto neglected state.

Inaugurating the two-day Youth Festival beginning here today, he called upon the youth to resolve for transforming Arunachal Pradesh into a prosperous and peaceful state of the country.

Stressing on the need to streamline the youth energy to build the state, Mr Apang advocated that the youth should stay away from anti-social and anti-national elements including vested interests of the political groups, who were bent to use the youth energy in destructive activities for their personal gains.

''Time has come for the youth to become a partner in our efforts to make an economically thriving, prosperous and powerful state'', the chief minister said.

Lauding the efforts of the celebration committee in organising such an event in a remote corner of the state, Mr Apang informed that the festival was aimed to motivate the young generation and help them realise their potential.

'' One of the major problems of our youth is that they lack clarity about their goals and as a result they fail to have a direction or goal in their lives'', Mr Apang pointed out and called for the utilisation of their potentials with confidence in order to achieve their goals.
